The Wii version of Bionicle heroes definitely gives you enough reasons to give it a miss. The developers of the hugely entertaining Lego Star Wars Games trotted out the Wii update of last year’s PS2/Xbox/GC Bionical game with the same tricks of the trade-plastic buliding bricks and all that.
Some occasionally humorous scenes and interesting visual elements might force you to have a whack at this not-so-heroic game. But, otherwise from poor Wii controls to the dull gameplay, nothing is worth a watch. The boring experience is further made worse by the inclusion of Hero mode.
Ruling out the broken Wii controls and repetitive play, game doesn’t even have anything to offer beyond the single player mode. Even sound effects and musical score couldn’t wake you from the sleep.
Though game is dull and drab, it has some 25 levels to reach and win. And even has some huge number of collectables and unlockables to keep your interest intact. Moreover, graphic artists have done a decent job since Bionicle has enough impressive visuals to flaunt. The water effects in particular, stun you immensely and explosions rather terrify you to death. All in all, better chuck out this Bionicle offering if you don’t want to doze off in the middle of playing.
