Are you a boxing fan? If yes, you must try your hands at the Punch-Out game produced by Genyo Takeda. Nintendo Power’s Top 200 Games list has this game on 17th number. For all those aggressive guys, here is a tough one for you.

Little Mac, the boxer, fights many fictional colourful boxers and finally lands up in final fight with real – life boxer Mike Tyson, the then World Heavyweight Champion in original version of the game. In later versions of the game, Little Mac has to face Mr. Dream. Only drawback is that there are very few moves that Mac knows which includes left and right body blows, left and right jabs etc. If he earns a star by counter punching, he can use uppercut. Little Mac’s heart meter will start diminishing when struck by opponent. When it reaches zero, poor Mac turns pink and can only defend himself.

If you are able to judge the next move of computer controlled boxer, you can be a master of Punch Out. The advanced boxers will not give you a single hint of their next move, so in order to win over them you should have strong reflexes. Find your opponents tricks and exploit his weakness and emerge winner with true colours. The unique playability, characters and graphics, stunning visuals will keep you glued to your seat.

Bragging won’t do, real fighters need to show off their courage in the virtual boxing ring of the Face Breaker game. Throw down the gauntlet to the devilish boxers and win in this fresh introduction of the EA’s freestyle brand. The new fighting game brings mighty players into a boxing ring to knock down some roughest and toughest boxers of all the times.

Looking like a bunch of screwy boxers battering each other, it doesn’t fails to give you a dose of style and funk in the all the animated characters. Its reasonably good control mechanics help you strain every nerve to knock down the powerful boxers. Its variety of engaging levels like arcade, zoos, trailer parks, and insane asylums makes you go like crazy throughout the game.

The boxer factory seems to have the most interesting twist of the game. Well, you can design your own iron monster and launch him in the ring. You can even upload them on a content-sharing service that can afford 30 designs per user. All-in-all, this game exhibits some fine controls and enough light strategies to keep you involved.
